Referral Program

Get paid for the CS leaders you send my way

$400 an Academy member, $200 a Dream Job client

I run two programs for Customer Success leaders and you earn on either one. Send someone to whichever fits them, and when they enroll, you get paid.

Free to join, takes about thirty seconds, and your link arrives by email. You don't have to be a client and there's nothing to install.

The short version
$400
when someone joins the CS Leadership Academy
$200
when someone joins the CS Dream Job Accelerator
60 days
from the moment they click your link to the moment they apply, and no cap on how many you refer
What you're signing up for

A link with your name on it. That's the whole thing.

You get one referral link, and it covers both programs. Send it to whoever it suits, and point them at whichever program is right for them.

There is nothing to install, no minimum, no monthly quota, and no contract. You're not an employee, a partner, or a spokesperson. You're someone who knows good CS leaders and points them at something useful.

If you want out, tell me and I'll deactivate your link. Anything you'd already earned before that stays yours.

How it works

Four steps, and you only do one of them

1

Fill in the form at the bottom of this page. Your referral link comes back by email, usually within about fifteen minutes.

2

Share it

Send it to whoever it's right for. It works on any page of my site, so you can point someone at either program and still get credit.

3

They apply

Both programs start with an application, and your code is carried onto it automatically. They don't have to remember your name, and you don't have to chase them.

4

They enroll

You earn $400 for an Academy member, $200 for a Dream Job client. If they're paying in installments, your fee arrives across those payments.

The terms

Written out plainly, because the fine print is where these programs usually go wrong

If something here isn't clear, reply to the email that brings you your link and ask me. I'd rather answer it up front than have you find out later.

  • $400 for the Academy, $200 for Dream Job

Paid as they pay. If someone's on a payment plan, your fee arrives across their installments rather than in one lump - and because it's calculated on what they actually pay, a payment plan works out slightly in your favor, not against you.

  • Sixty days, and only one clock

Someone has to apply within 60 days of clicking your link. Once they've applied, the clock stops mattering entirely - your code is on their application whether they enroll that week or months later.

  • The most recent link wins

If someone clicks two different referral links before applying, the one they clicked most recently is the one that counts.

  • Both programs are tracked the same way

Your code rides along with the application either way. On the Dream Job form it lands in the “were you referred by anyone?” box, so it's visible to the applicant - if someone clears it by accident, email me and I'll put it right.

  • A person approves every commission

I review and approve commissions by hand. Nothing pays out automatically, and I'll sort payment details with you when your first one is approved.

  • Your rate is locked at the moment of payment

Each commission is worked out on the day that payment came in and is never recalculated afterwards, so a price change later never reaches back and changes what you already earned.

What you'd be sending them to

Two programs, and you earn on both

Which one is right depends on what the person actually wants. If you're not sure, send them the one that sounds closest and I'll point them the right way when they apply.

Group coaching

The CS Leadership Academy

My group coaching program for Customer Success leaders - Directors, VPs and Heads of CS - built around behavioral psychology rather than the usual playbook advice. People come in wanting to build a CS department that visibly drives revenue, to get promoted, or both. Roughly half have it paid for by their company.

Send someone here if they're already leading CS and want to be better at it, or want the next title.

1:1 coaching

The CS Dream Job Accelerator

One-to-one job search coaching for experienced CS leaders, delivered by my coaches. It's about getting found by hiring managers instead of applying into the void, reaching roles before they're posted, and turning more interviews into better offers.

Send someone here if they're job hunting, about to be, or done with where they are and haven't said so out loud yet.

Questions

The things people ask before they sign up

Do I have to be a client to refer people?

No. Plenty of people who refer have never bought anything from me. If you know the right people, that's enough.

What if the person I refer forgets to mention me?

They don't have to. Your code travels with them from the moment they click your link and is written onto their application automatically, for either program.

The one thing worth knowing: on the Dream Job application your code appears in the “were you referred by anyone?” box rather than behind the scenes, so the applicant can see it and could type over it. If that ever happens, email me and I'll put it right. I'd rather fix it than have you lose a referral on a technicality.

What if they click my link on their phone and enroll later on a laptop?

Still yours. What matters is that they applied after clicking your link. Once the application is in, nothing about which device or browser they buy on can undo it.

How will I know whether anyone has signed up?

Reply to the email that brings you your link and ask me any time - I'll tell you exactly where you stand. There's no self-serve dashboard, on purpose. I'd rather answer you directly than build one nobody logs into.

Which program should I send someone to?

Whichever fits. Someone leading a CS team who wants to be better at it, or wants the next title, is an Academy person. Someone looking for a new role is a Dream Job person. If you genuinely can't tell, send them either one - I'll steer them right when they apply, and your referral stays attached either way.

Can I refer someone who's already talking to you?

Ask me first. If they were already in conversation with me before you got involved, it isn't really a referral, and I'd rather sort that out honestly than have it turn awkward later.

How do I stop?

Tell me and I'll deactivate your link. That stops new referrals from attaching to you. It doesn't touch anything you'd already earned, including commissions on installments that haven't been collected yet.

Get your referral link

Fill this in and your link comes back by email, usually within about fifteen minutes.

Free to join. I'll email you your link and nothing else unless you ask.

That didn't go through. Give it another try, or email me at rachel@provansuccess.com and I'll set you up by hand.

You're in.

Your referral link is on its way by email - give it about fifteen minutes to land. If it hasn't turned up in an hour, check your spam folder, then email me at rachel@provansuccess.com and I'll sort it out.
